The designer Karen Zambos is a Chicago native who now lives and is based in the fashion capital of Los Angeles. She got her start in the fashion world when she moved to Los Angeles and started working in a boutique named Tracey Ross. Her first work was hand-dying vintage slips and them selling them at the store she had been managing for the past 8 years. Shortly after this her career as a designer began to take off.
